The black and white font of the album gives it a more dark and moody feel which might appeal to a group of people who identify with and prefer this genre of music. The heavy shadows on the front cover further follows the dark an moody feel.
The different people on the front cover may represent the different people in this world which may be sending a subliminal message to his audience of individuality. The filter on the picture also gives it a retro look which conforms to the singer-songwriter convention which will further appeal to an audience who prefer this genre.
The soft and warm colouring of the album gives it a calm feel which might be more attractive to the audience as they could assume that they would be able to relax to her music. Furthermore, the close up of her makes her more recognisable which conforms to one of the Goodwin's convention.
