Digipak Codes and Conventions
Front of the Digipak
The front cover of an digipak usually features the artist or band or something that is highly familiar to the audience about the artist or band and thus highly recognisable by their audience. Front covers also feature the artist's/band's name and the title of the album and it is usually written in bold so that the consumer is able to clearly recognise the artist/band
Middle of the Digipak
The middle of the digipak follows the same theme as the front cover to show consistency throughout the album. The middle of the digipak usually contains a written piece from the artist which usually tends to say thank you to the audience, some digipaks include booklets with information or lyrics, commonly, there are a series of photos in the middle of the digipak to further follow the theme of the front cover.
Back of the Digipak
The back of the digipak includes the track list of the songs that are featured in the album and are usually over laid on a photo of the artists or a symbol that associates with them, it also follows the same theme as the rest of the digipak. Other things that is always on the back of a digipak are: barcode, record label and any promotional links such as to their Facebook, etc.
